After You Start, it's Easy to Follow:

Throughout the Program:

Select Members of El Paso Health. There are some specific circumstances under which weight loss may not be appropriate for you, whether it’s Small Changes or any other program. Small Changes, in particular, requires that you are:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • If female, then not pregnant or nursing.
  • Have a Body-Mass Index that is in the overweight category or higher (Small Changes will calculate this for you).
  • Have a Total Daily Energy Expenditure between 1,400 and 4,000 Calories a day (Small Changes will calculate this for you).
  • Not prohibited by your healthcare provider from participating in a weight-loss program.

It’s free to select members of El Paso Health.

For four meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner), you’ll get precise recipes for foods that you choose from our catalog of meal options. The meal options are designed exclusively for El Paso and the Paso del Norte Region.

Not if you have the following two items:
  1. Weighing Scale to check your weight
  2. Cup and spoon measures to measure ingredients for recipes
There are other items we recommend, but these are the two must-haves in order to follow the program.
Your program is divided into four phases. Altogether, it takes 16 weeks for you to complete the program.
